“Today it was confirmed that Ringo has Covid and the tour will be on hold while he recovers,” says an announcement on Monday.
“Ringo hopes to resume as soon as possible and is recovering at home. As always, he and the All Starrs send peace and love to their fans and hope to see them back on the road soon.”
The Former Beatle’s canceled tour dates with his All Starr Band are as follows:
October 4 – Canada Life Center in Winnipeg, Manitoba
October 5 – Sasketel Center in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
October 6 – Enmax Center in Lethbridge, Alberta
October 8 – Abbotsford Center in Abbotsford, BC
October 9 – South Okanagon Event Center in Pentiction, BC
The legendary Ringo Starr will also have a concert in Mexico for next October 19 at the National Auditorium.
Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band is made up of Toto’s Steve Lukather, Men at Work’s Colin Hay, Average White Band’s Hamish Stuart and Edgar Winter.
The tour had already been postponed by Covid-19 between the members of the band. Several North American dates were postponed in June because Winter and Lukather tested positive for the virus.
