british singer Ringo Starr had to cancel his concerts on October 1 and 2 due to an unspecified health problem. The casino Four Winds of Michigan issued a statement reporting that, Although the artist does not suffer from Covid, he could not perform due to problems with his voice.
Ringo, 82, is on tour with his All-Starr Band and just a few days ago he posted on his account Instagram photographs that show him after his concert in Montreal, about to board a plane. In June two of the members of his group –Steve Lukether Y Edgar Winter– they got sick with Covid, so several dates had to be rescheduled. The tour is expected to end on October 20 in Mexico City.
“Ringo is sick and expected to continue, hence the decision, but his voice is affected, so the show that would start in a few hours is cancelled,” was part of the statement. The ex beatles performs songs from the album on his tour What’s my namewhich he launched at the end of 2019 and has been eager to promote ever since, but due to the pandemic he had to wait more than two years to do so.
