2022 has been, without a doubt, a good year for Rigoberta Bandini. Although her music has been heard for a few years, his fame and popularity increased with his candidacy for Eurovision 2022 and his hit Ow mom. The Catalan has hit it this summer with her tour of all the Spanish music festivals. His last performance at the Granada Sound left the public with goosebumps and changed her schoolgirl look for a renewed (and summery) version of the famous white dress designed by Joan Ros Garrofe.

A performance that will go down in history
Seeing Rigoberta Bandini live is quite a spectacle. Far from boring or leaving the public indifferent, the Catalan artist swept the Granada Sound with her staging. Making the public vibrate and driving it crazy with the feminist anthem, Ay Mama, “la Rigo” and her entire choir did not hesitate to show her boobs after the performance ended to remember that they should not be feared, but adored.
The Benidorm Fest 2022 look in a two-piece version
Although the Benidorm Fest 2022 did not go unpunished for controversy, from its first edition we are left -among many things-, with the styling (and staging) of Rigoberta Bandini. Choosing a dress designed by Joan Ros, he explained that the wardrobe was a shout out to mothers. “The die-cut elements of the song give the tattoo effect. The song’s message is inside, eternally. It’s not a slogan, it’s imperfections, marks, wounds that are carried forever.”
Last August, the singer showed us what would be her new outfit for concerts. Leaving aside her school uniform parked for a while, a white die-cut two-piece became a beautiful representation of the famous dress that she wore on stage at Benidorm Fest 2022.
In the form of a cardigan and shorts, the famous word Aneto (a favorite broth chosen by Rigoberta) was still present as a distinctive detail of the look.
After her autumn tour, Rigoberta will retire “for a long time” as she announced last June. And we will miss her (a lot).
