There is no doubt that stranger things it became a worldwide phenomenon that is sure to be a part of popular culture for a long time. One of the reasons that fans are completely loyal to the series is because the writers are interested in listening to their audience, making them part of the production in an indirect way.
The relationship is so extensive that even the writers have an account of Twitter where they interact with fans. Taking advantage of their popularity, they started a dynamic called “Crazy sh*t that almost happened” (Strange things that almost happened), in which they reveal some situations that did not happen in the series, but were part of the script.
The first weird thing that didn’t happen was that Will came close to becoming a killer, but not a heroic one, as he was going to kill one of the most beloved characters in season two. The victim was to be Bob Newby, Joyce’s loving boyfriend, who was killed by a pack of Demodogs, allowing the others to escape.

It should be noted that the murder was going to be committed by a possessed Will, which at least lightens the weight of the act. The second strange case that we did not get to see on screen was another murder, this time, committed by Eleven. You may not remember the character who was about to die at the hands of our protagonist, but it is Terry Ives, the real mother of Ce.

We met her fighting Brenner to prevent the kidnapping of her daughter, but failing, she was subjected to torture that left her in a catatonic state. Her writers wanted to give her a death worthy of her and the one responsible for taking her to the other world would be precisely Eleven, who seeing her in that state of hers would take pity on her and give her a well-deserved rest.
