official synopsis

When a peaceful colony situated at the edge of the galaxy is threatened by the armies of the tyrannical regent, Kora (Sofia Boutella), a young woman with a mysterious past living among the villagers becomes their only hope for survival.
Tasked with going to nearby planets in search of warriors who can help deal with them. Kora brings together a small group of outsiders, insurgents, peasants and orphans left behind by war on other planets, all with the same need for redemption and revenge.
With the shadow of the entire kingdom threatening the most unlikely moon. The battle for the fate of the entire galaxy will be fought, during which a new army of heroes will be created.
Rebel Moon features a cast led by Sofia Boutella, Djimon Hounsou, Ed Skrein, Michiel Huisman, Doona Bae, Ray Fisher, with Charlie Hunnam and Anthony Hopkins as the voice of ‘Jimmy’.
