Quentin Tarantino is known as a film director and screenwriter, but now he has written a book called Cinema speculationin which he delves into his career and the films of the 70s that influenced his style as a director.
A few days ago the award winner Oscar He was a guest on the television show Jimmy Kimmel, where he released a list of seven films that he considers “untouchable” and the best of all time. These were “The Texas chainsaw massacre”, “Jaws”, “The Exorciser”, “AnnieHall”, “Young Frankenstein”, “Back to the future” Y “The wild bunch”emphasizing that although the latter was not a perfect film, he could not leave it out of the list.
During the interview, Kimmel asked Quentin if there were any classic films he had never seen, to which Quentin replied after a few seconds: “I have never seen ‘The sound of music’“. Jimmy said “I’d like to see it with you”, prompting an immediate laugh from Tarantino.
