It is a scandal over the publication of Prince Harry’s memoirs in his book entitled spare (‘In the shadow’), has put him in danger. In the text, in which he exposes his bad relationship with his family, the mourning in his childhood and his passing through the British Army, there are strong statements that put him in the crosshairs of terrorists.
Harry has been threatened by the terrorist group Al Qaeda, after he admitted in the book that in his warlike past he claimed the lives of 25 men in the war in Afghanistan. Supposedly the Duke of Sussex felt no remorse for what he did.
In an interview, the 38-year-old prince warned that the tabloid press had taken it upon himself to “take his statements out of context”. and make it appear that he was bragging about his skill in warfare, by describing his enemies as “chess pieces that needed to be removed from the board.”
“Without a doubt, the most dangerous lie that has been told about me is that I have somehow bragged about the number of people I killed in Afghanistan. I would also be angry if I heard that someone has bragged about something like that. But it’s a lie”he assured on the Stephen Colbert show.
What Harry would have tried to expose in his book ‘In the shadow’ It was his vision of the culture that exists in the Army and the desensitization process in which he was immersed due to his direct participation in the war.
What al Qaeda exposes
It seems that the prince’s explanations have not convinced extremist groups such as Al Qaeda, an Islamist organization led years ago by the late Osama Bin Laden. The terrorist group has ordered its members and supporters to assassinate Harry, whom they call Al-Zanim in a harsh article published in the new edition of their magazine. One Unmah.
Al Qaeda accuses him of despising Muslims in Afghanistan and dehumanizing them in his controversial book.
“Prince Al-Zanim’s confession that he killed twenty-five Muslims in cold blood, and that they were only chess pieces in his eyes, reveals to us the level of discrimination, condescension and criminality that is in his genes,” writes the terrorist group.
British royals warned
Al Qaeda has even called on the royal family to stop protecting Harry, who stepped down as a British royal in March 2020, and leave him at the mercy of Islamic justice.
They talk about a “opportunity for the crown to take revenge on its dissident son, removing his protection to make way for Islamic hands, so that they are the ones who take their just retribution“.
