Every journey has a beginning and an end, and the journey that Ash and Pikachu began in 1997 has come to an end, much to the surprise of all and sundry, and the shock of millions of Pokémon fans across the globe.

Throughout 26 years Ash and Pikachu became the protagonists of the different Pokémon series, which have been the protagonists of the different stages of one of the most popular anime in recent years.
In recent months, Ash surprised himself by becoming the best Pokémon master, something he has pursued for more than 20 years, when he left Pallet Town.

In the latest episode of Pokemon: Aim To Be A Pokemon Master, which has already premiered on TV in Japan, Ash and Pikachu say goodbye to old friends like Misty and Broc, before the two go their separate ways.
Now the future of Pokémon points to the new series Pokemon: Horizons, to which the chubby Pikachu will return, although two new aspiring masters, Liko and Roy, will seek to become Pokemon masters, alongside Sprigatito.
Pokemon: Horizons director Kunihiko Yuyama isn’t ruling out the possibility that both Asgh and Pikachu will cross paths again in the future.
