One of the most incredible crossings that will occur in the third season of Pennyworth is that of the British ex-spy with a face that will be known in V for Vendetta
In October, the Pennyworth series will return to digital platforms, and the espionage story involving Alfred will feature an unexpected crossover with one of the most shocking DC Comics stories, V for Vendetta.

In the comics it’s unlikely (if not impossible) that Alan Moore’s story will cross paths with the DC Universe, but on TV it looks like such a clash of plots will be possible.
But don’t expect to see V fighting London crime alongside Alfred, in the service of Thomas Wayne. This crossing occurs in a peculiar way.
If you have paid attention to the trailer of the third season, check the second 43, when Alfred enters a room, and those who are in this room turn with a particular mask.
This mask is familiar to DC Comics and Vertigo readers as it is none other than Guy Fawkes, the man whose face represents anarchy.
Guy Fawkes, the face of anarchy
This man existed in real life, and Alan Moore somehow immortalized him in one of his most important works.
With the atmosphere tense in the year 1605, a group of Protestant Catholics planned to end part of the British monarchy in the Opening of the State.
Among the conspirators was Guy Fawkes, the man whose face served as inspiration for the mask worn by V, as a symbol of anarchy’s struggle against fascism.
With experience in warlike conflicts, Fawkes planted 900 kilos of gunpowder, which would blow up the Palace of Westminster on November 5, 1605, the day of the Opening of the State.
Thomas Knyvett, Guardian of the Palace, discovered and foiled Fawkes’ plan, who was captured and sentenced to death at the stake.
The series centers on Alfred Pennyworth (Jack Bannon) a former British SAS (Space Air Service) soldier. In 1960, after founding a security company in the English capital, he establishes communication for the first time with the billionaire Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge).
Rounding out the cast is Emma Paetz as Martha Kane, Ryan Fletcher and Hainsley Lloyd Bennett as Pennyworth allies Dave Boy and Bazza, singer Paloma Faith and Polly Walker as Bet Sykes and her sister Peggy, and Jason Flemyng as Lord Harwood.
The third season of Pennyworth will arrive in October on the HBO Max platform.
