The sentence of the Mexican actor was finally announced, Paul Lyle, after delaying his hearing on several occasions. In his final hearing it was revealed that the actor is sentenced to 5 years in state prison and 8 years of probation and must undergo conflict resolution classes. Plus 100 hours of community service.
Last October, Lyle was found guilty after being proven manslaughter after being involved in a vehicular incident in 2019. Which led to the death of Mr. Hernández, a Cuban resident of Miami, Florida.
Judge Marisa Tinkler Mendez was in charge of announcing the sentence in a hearing that lasted a few hours in the Miami-Dade County Circuit Court.
The defense requested from the beginning that he only be given a year and a day of sentence, but it was expected that after this crime he could go from 9 to 15 years in prison. Not counting the almost four years that he has already been detained.
Before the final verdict was released, Lyle took advantage of the minutes he had to apologize to the deceased’s family. And he revealed how it has affected his family and himself, because it is a situation that got out of his hands and that he never really sought.
What brought Pablo Lyle to prison?
This unfortunate situation occurred on March 31, 2019 when Pablo Lyle was involved in a traffic incident with his family in Miami.
Moment in which anger invaded him and for this reason he got out of the car, moment in which he hit Juan Ricardo Hernández, a 63-year-old man of Cuban originwho died a few days after receiving blows from the actor.
Since that day, the actor has been detained and in October 2022 he was found guilty of the crime of involuntary manslaughter and now he will have to serve 5 years in state prison and 8 years of probation. Plus 100 hours of community service.
