After being postponed several times, it was finally announced that Pablo Lyle’s involuntary manslaughter trial will take place on September 20 in a criminal court in Miami, Florida, and it will be done under strict security conditions, but it is the lawyer Sandra Hoyos who explained what could happen if found guilty of the charges that he is accused and in whose hands is the actor’s life.
It was during an interview on the program ‘Ventaneando’, where they made known how many years in prison could the actor reach of the movie “Mirreyes vs Godínes” if it is proven that he was guilty of the death of Juan Ricardo Hernández, a 63-year-old man of Cuban origin who died after a traffic fight.
“Depending on exactly what charge he is found guilty on, it could be 5 to 10 years, now, by the time the jury makes a determination that he is guilty.”

He explained that this will not be known in the trial on September 20, but in a following hearing in which the sentence that the actor must serve will be determined.
“They (the jury) at that time do not determine the time that he would presumably have to serve, but there is a second hearing where Pablo Lyle and all the lawyers would have to attend, so that is the moment of the sentence“, he pointed.
Likewise, there are certain elements that could influence the type of sentence that Lyle receives, which the lawyer shared promptly: “There are always factors that can mitigate or soften that time. If you’re a community member who hasn’t done anything since then, if he is a parent, if he is a person fit to work, if you contribute something to the community”.
Finally, he stressed that it is the jury who has great relevance in the trial, since they will be the ones who practically determine the fate of the 35-year-old actor.
“His fate, without a doubt, is in the hands of these 10 strangers and they’re going to have to pick it out with tweezers from both sides. It will be very important who they choose, ”she pointed out.
