In addition to the exhibition within the venue, OKUDA carried out an intervention on the façade with many colors and various geometric shapes, in correspondence with the artist’s visual style, giving life to one of the most important squares in the city, Plaza de la Republic. “Mexico is very colorful, I feel very close to this country because I have spent a lot of time here, for me Mexico is related to colors like Mexican pink and many bright colors”, commented the artist about his inspiration with this country that has frequently visited and where it has been for long periods of time.
Due to his striking style, the artist and his exhibition are positioned as one of the main attractions of the Art Week in Mexico City in 2023.
“I chose this name for the exhibition because all the pieces are a round trip from the spiritual world, the virtual world and the world of dreams,” OKUDA commented.
As part of the Art Week activities and adding to other benefits, the OKUDA Immersive Experience will have a special 2×1 price if purchased at the BADA art fair, one of the art buying and selling events that will take place in Campo Marte within the framework of the Art Week in CDMX, ideal for the city full of events and artists that show the best as well as the most avant-garde art that is exhibited in the Mexican capital.
