Not only the DC Universe already has its first projects, also the Batman Universe by Matt Reeves already has the release date of The Batman 2
Although social networks have turned to the announcements that Peter Safran and James Gunn released in relation to the DC Universe, one of the doubts that were in the air was the status of the mythology that started The Batman, directed by Matt Reeves, who will direct Batman 2.

As SMASH reported to you in a timely manner, the response from fans to the feature film starring Robert Pattinson was what prompted Warner Bros. to greenlight the sequel to this story.
But that’s not all, since three series will be produced as a result of this feature film, of which Penguin stands out, starring Colin Farell, where the rise of Oswalt Cobblepott will be told.
When will The Batman 2 be released?
Within the framework of the announcements of Chapter 1, Gods and Monsters of the DC Universe, James Gunn confirmed that the making of The Batman 2 is a reality and this production, like Todd Phillips’ Joker, will be part of the DC Elseworlds label.
Similarly, it was revealed that the release date of The Batman II is scheduled for October 3, 2025, one year after the release of Joker: Foliè a Deux.
The Batman II could adapt the story of Hush, which was published between 2002 and 2003, authored by Jeph Loeb, with the lines of Jim Lee.
The Batman is now available through digital video stores and the HBO Max digital platform.
