If waiting for the next season of your favorite series to premiere is already too long, Imagine if you had to wait until November 18, 2115. Yes, that is the 22nd century and, oddly enough, it is the year in which a movie that finished filming in 2015 will hit theaters (if they still exist). In fact, its title already says it all. …. And it is that 100 Years: The Movie You’ll Never See it was designed so that no one alive at the time of its production could ever see it (unless medicine suddenly took leaps and bounds, of course).
Starring John Malkovich and Shuya Chang, the film we will never see is directed by Robert Rodríguez and was officially presented at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. However, it was the only film that was not screened. Until November 18, 2115, the only negative that exists will remain stored in a safe deposit box with a mechanism that makes it impossible to open it before the marked date. Only when the timer has finished counting down will the ark open automatically.
