last august Erika Buenfil revealed that his son Nicolás already knew his father, Ernesto Zedillo Jr., and that the meeting took place in her own home, although she regretted that she could not be present because she was with a friend. Yet now it was the same Nicolás Buenfil who was honest about the meeting he had with his father and answered if he already forgave him for not recognizing him at the time.
In an interview with “Who“, the 17-year-old shared that he feels lucky to have a mother like Erika Buenfil since he has always given him the best education and nothing is missing, although he also admits that he likes to visit his father, whom he met in person in February 2019.
“I did not suffer from bullying or harassment because it is already very common for many children to only live with one of their parents. Also, I always felt very loved by my mom, I never lacked for anything, she helped me with everything and now that I go out with my dad it’s fine, I like it, it doesn’t matter that it hasn’t been before,” said Nicolás.
When asked if he has any kind of resentment towards his father for not having been with him during his first years of life, the teenager confessed that everything is fine between them.
“I already forgave him, I don’t hold a grudge against him. I like to see him and live with him together with my two half-sisters (Isabella and Victoria). I see that he cares for them and that they love him, that’s enough for me.”

Despite the fact that they could not live together, for the actress’s son there is no point in continuing to remember the past and he prefers to focus on what they are currently experiencing, although he also makes it clear that his plans are not going to live with him.
“I see it often and that’s what counts. Sometimes we go out to eat at a restaurant, the cinema or a museum and that’s fine, we have fun. I wouldn’t think about living with him because I wouldn’t leave my mom alone“, he explained.
Nicolás stressed that, although he knows that he is the grandson of the former President of Mexico, Ernesto Zedillo Ponce de Leonprefers to keep his humility and not look for it, this includes not fighting for an inheritance or for the surname since for him the most important thing is to be a Buenfil, like his famous mother.
“My mom means my world, I don’t know what I would do without her. He is my guide, my unconditional support in good times and bad. LI tell him all my problems and he always helps me solve them. She is my best friend, I love her and I admire her stubbornness and her fight every day. She is a mop because she alone, working hard, brought me forward with love. I am happy and grateful for it, ”she pointed out.
Nicolás ended by sharing some teachings that his mother has given him, among which are being a gentleman, which he intends to follow promptly so as not to repeat history.
“She is full of values and instills them in me. He asks me to be a gentleman, not to cheat on women and to always take responsibility when I commit to a girlfriend. I pay attention to him because I would not like to repeat history. I want to work soon to earn a lot of money. I like to live well, I want to get married and have children, ”she pointed out.
