One of the most influential Latin American literary works of the times will have its adaptation to series, it is about “One Hundred Years of Solitude” by Gabriel García Márquez.
The series called “Macondo” is in charge of the leading streaming platform Netflix and has launched first trailer of just one minute in which we can get a slight idea of what to expect about the history of the Buendía family.
But the famous platform did not launch the advance with any date and it is that a day like today 40 years ago García Márquez was notified that he won the Nobel Prize for Literature with this book.
In this trailer we can see a simulation of How is it that the Colombian would have imagined the scenarios of Macondo, locker rooms and more.
“You don’t tell a story when you should, but when you can,” a voiceover that could simulate Garcia’s is heard in the video.
The series will be divided into three seasons, although until now the exact date of its premiere is unknown, but this advance tells us that it is closer than we think.

The production will show us the history of the 7 generations of the family, beginning with José Arcadio Buendía, who founded the fictional town.
“We begin this long road today with all the respect and responsibility that it requires of us and all of this is only possible because of the trust that Rodrigo García and Gonzalo García gave us, which we assumed with absolute commitment and responsibility to tell the story of Macondo and the Buendías. as conceived by our Nobel Prize”, indicated Netflix.
