The future of Sex Education and its fourth season take a hard blow. Netflix announces bad news for its flagship series.
One of the protagonists of sex education, Patricia Allisonwho plays Wave in the series of Netflix, will not return in the fourth season. After three amazing seasons, the British series heads into its fourth installment with the shadow of an ending looming on the horizon. Although a release date has not yet been set, it will surely hit the streaming platform next year. It won’t, however, with Patricia Allison. Those who will be will be Handle Butterfield, Gillian Anderson, Nctui Gatwa, Emma Mckey Y Aimee Lou Woodamong many others.

Even though Ola’s presence in sex education he won more integers even in the third season, unfortunately the character will not return in the fourth season of the Netflix series. Actress Patricia Allison herself has confirmed this in an interview with Capital Xtra. After playing Ola for the last three years on the British series, Patricia Allison will be leaving the TV show to pursue other projects. Patricia Allison has admitted that she, despite leaving the series, has lived a real dream being part of this successful saga on the small screen.

“I loved being in Sex Education and playing the character of Ola,” said actress Patricia Allison. “But unfortunately, I will not be part of the cast of the fourth season of the Netflix series. I am sorry to have to inform you of this as well. I am going to do other projects, new opportunities have arisen. I’ve been playing Ola for three years now and it’s really been a great experience. I love the series. I guess I had to say goodbye at some point. But new things are coming! Other projects are coming and that’s exciting too.”
