What a surprise he had in store Netflix for this weekend, because the platform has finally launched the first trailer of ‘Copenhagen Cowboy’. It advances little of the story, but makes it clear that the new Nicolas Winding Refn promises to be the most hypnotic series of the year.
‘Copenhagen Cowboy’ will tell the story of Miu, who is about to start a new life after a long time in servitude. Seeking justice and revenge through the criminal underworld of Copenhagen, Miu will meet her nemesis Rakel de Ella, embarking on an odyssey through the natural and the supernatural.
The director of ‘Drive’ returns with ‘Copenhagen Cowboy’ to his Denmark native for the first time in over a decade, being also his consecutive television work. Of course, the first, ‘Too old to die young’, did it on Amazon Prime Video, while the one that concerns us now will be seen on Netflix.
Angela Bundalovic, Lola Corfixen, Zlatko Buric, Andreas Lykke Jørgensen, Jason Hendil-Forssell, Li Ii Zhang, Dragana Milutinovic, Mikael Bertelsen and Mads Brügger star in a series that we will see this year. Unfortunately, Netflix has not wanted to specify its exact release date yet.
