After a long time of waiting, It will be next January 14 when the 71st edition of miss Universethe competition that brought together 59 candidates from different parts of the world to seek to win the most precious crown in beauty pageants.
Said gala will take place at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans in the United States starting at 7pm ET/ 4pm PT next Saturday, January 14.
It should be noted that Telemundo will broadcast the ceremony live from coast to coastbringing viewers all the excitement and exclusive behind-the-scenes content, interviews and Comprehensive coverage through his channel and various platforms such as Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
The coverage will have as presenters Jacky Bracamontes, Cristián de la Fuente, Alix Aspe, Carlos Adyan and the winner of the 69th edition of Miss Universe and co-host of Hoy Día, Andrea Meza.
Another of the great surprises of the night is that Myrka Dellanos, co-host of the Telemundo program ‘La Mesa Caliente’, was chosen as a member of the Selection Committee of this year’s competition, together with the former Miss Universe, Ximena Navarrete.
As if that were not enough, it was recently announced that the evening will be enlivened by musical presentations by international artists. These are Big Freedia, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Amanda Shaw, Tank and the Bangas, and Yolanda Adams.
Miss Universe 2023: Who are the Latin American candidates within the competition?
As every year, one of the biggest questions from the public is directed towards the identity of the participants who will fight to put the name of their country high and take the crown. This 2023, Latin America has 9 representatives who have already given a lot to talk about.
In the case of Mexico, it is Irma Cristina Miranda Valenzuela, while Colombia and Chile have María Fernanda Aristizábal and Sofía Depassier., respectively. In addition, Amanda Dudamel proudly represents her native Venezuela and Alessia Rovegno from Peru.
