The movie ‘The Devil Wears Prada’, known in Spanish as ‘El Diablo Viste a la Moda’ or ‘El Diablo Viste de Prada’, premiered in 2006, but made news again a few hours ago after it was revealed that it was put up for sale the mansion that Miranda Presley (Meryl Streep) lived on the tape and which is located in New York City.
The building, which is distributed over 7 floors and was built in 1907 by the architect Henry Allan Jacodswas launched on the market by $27,500,000 dollars.
The construction of the Neo-Italian Renaissance architectural style, currently belongs to to Craig and Caryn Effronwho acquired it a decade ago for $8,800,000 dollars.
The reasons why the residence tripled its value in this time are multiple, but the main one is because it was completely redecorated with the help of the designer Anthony Baratta.
According to the technical file, published in various media specialized in the sale of real estate, the house has an extension of 12,000 square feetwith 7 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.
In the basement is the laundry room, a bedroom, the recreation room, the storage room, as well as the machine rooms.
On the ground floor there is the hall, the kitchen, the dining room, a bonus room, the garden and two bathrooms. On the second floor is the service kitchen, the dining room, the main room, a bathroom and a terrace.
On the third level we have the library, a bathroom and the master bedroom with two huge dressing rooms, a full bathroom and a balcony. The fourth floor houses the gym, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, a balcony and a terrace.
The fifth floor has two bedrooms with their respective full bathrooms, with a balcony and a terrace. While in the sixth there is a terrace, a basketball court and a bathtub.
