The film, which is still a real box office success, came more than thirty years after the premiere of the original film. The first installment was one of the great roles of Tom Cruise, making him take off as a Hollywood superstar. The actor, who also risked his life filming the sequel, has returned in style after many production complications.

Bradley Bradshaw he played a central role in the sequel and, like many of the actors who worked on the film, Teller underwent the same kind of harsh training that Tom Cruise demanded. With a training program designed specifically for the title star, it’s no surprise that he was extraordinarily challenging. Teller recently spoke with LAD Bible about that training and admitted that he thought he might die.
“There was definitely a time where I thought I was going to die for real,” Miles Teller admitted of filming Top Gun: Maverick. “There was a sequence where we were heading straight for the ground and we had to do what’s called a maximum ‘pull-up G’. You head down and, at the last second, pull up. This maneuver is very difficult for the pilot. It’s something they train on all the time, but it was the first time we’d done a stunt like that and I stopped acting altogether. I looked at the ground and thought that this was not going to end well for me.
