In his most recent interview, Miguel Bose He told how he lost his voice eight years ago and how he recovers from it.
The interview was conducted on the program ‘El Hormiguero’ in Spain, where he also spoke about his biographical series ‘Bosé: I will be’. In addition, the personal and family circumstances that have marked his life, as well as his addiction to drugs and why it took him so long to accept his bisexuality.
An infection affected his entire face
“I had been diagnosed with chronic sinusitis“said the singer during the interview. But over time the doctors alerted him that it was not the real problem with his loss of voice, but that it was an “infection” of a tooth: “It turns out that to put an implant they drilled into my bone and there, little by little, debris entered and time became an infection“, he explained.
Bosé assured that this infection affected his intestines, “they removed my tooth and the next day my voice had returned after 8 years”.
“I tried everything and traveled all over the world visiting the best doctors in Milan, London, Madrid, Mexico, New York… I spent eight years traveling with tremendous misery in my soul because I had lost the tool. I was already asking God that if I couldn’t sing I wouldn’t sing, but that he would give me back my voice so that my children would know the timbre of their father’s voice, so that I could communicate“, he counted.
New songs and concerts
Miguel Bosé announced that he is undergoing treatment to recover 100% of his voice, in addition to going to the speech therapist and treatments to strengthen his back.
“I intend to return to recording and singing. The speech therapist tells me that these years I have ‘swallowed’ my voice and that I have to put it back in its place to return to my full faculties. They have given me a year of back and voice recovery and next year, in September or October, I’ll start the tour, ”she promised.
