His tone of voice gave him the opportunity to consolidate himself in several roles and series, such as Count Patula, where Ghigliazza was the narrator of this animated series from the early 90s.
Ghigliazza became the main voice of the films where Danny Trejo participated and in 2005 and 2007 he played a Marvel Comics character, voicing Ben Grimm / The Thing in the first two Fantastic Four films.
The actor was also involved in two DC Comics related projects, voicing Walter Kovacs/Rorscharch in the Zack Snyder-directed movie Watchmen, released in 2009.
Ghigliazza returned to a Watchmen project in 2019, now in the HBO series, by lending his voice to documenting Hooded Justice.
The actor has also participated in anime and has voiced several video game characters such as League of Legends, Gears of War 3 and Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
