In 2013 the actor michael shannon He played the evil General Zod -Superman’s archenemy- in the film Man of steelwhich directed zack snyder. Now he returns with that same character, but in a different context, for the film “The Flash”in which he shares credits with ezra miller and michael keaton. The experience was not entirely satisfactory for him, due to the treatment of the “multiverse” -which can present the same character in different situations- since there was not the opportunity to develop the characteristics of that villain as thoroughly as he had done previously.
In a recent interview with ColliderShannon, 48, reflected on her work on the film: “I’m not going to lie, it wasn’t very satisfying for me, as an actor. These multiverse movies are like someone playing with action figures. It’s something like: “Here is this person. Here’s another one. And they’re fighting.” It’s not the in-depth study situation that I honestly felt in Man of steel“.
Despite this, Michael has not stopped praising the work of Millerwho stars in the film that will be released in the United States on June 16: ““The Flash” it’s all about the character of Ezra. I think he’s a fascinating actor, and I can’t wait to see the outcome. It is a great challenge for him. I don’t want to give anything away, but what Ezra does in this movie is crazy crazy. I think they all rose to the occasion.”
