Through his Instagram account, Michael Rosenbaum shared the first photograph of his characterization as Lex Luthor for the first season of Smallville, which began filming in February 2001.
“30 minutes after shaving my head for the first time for Lex”, reads the message from Rosenbaum that accompanies the photo dated March 2, 2001.
What happened to Michael Rosenbaum?
Michael Rosenbaum rose to fame in 2001 with the premiere of the series Smallville, where he was in charge of playing Lex Luthor, a role that gave him international projection.
The New York native left the Smallville series after the seventh season, although he returned to play the Man of Steel’s nemesis in the tenth season, as a special guest.
Along with Smallville, Rosenbaum has also lent his voice to different DC Comics characters in the animated series, such as Barry Allen / Flash in Justice League, as well as different animated films.
In 2015, the actor led the cast of the Impastor series, which lasted two seasons and aired 20 episodes. Rosenbaum has also voiced him for video game characters.
