American actor and director, Michael B Jordanenjoyed his 36th birthday in Mexico.
He is known for playing the character of Erik Killmonger, T’Challa’s cousin and enemy, in Black Panther (2018), and Adonis Creed, son of the fictional boxer Apollo Creed, in Creed (2015).
Wearing a shirt that shows his physical figure well, he was shown sitting on a wooden bench, smiling broadly, to celebrate his birthday.
Despite the fact that he arrived in Mexico an hour late, he gave some interviews with a cheerful tone and a smiling face. “I am happy, presenting the film in which I debut as a director and in Mexico,” he told local media.
That’s right, the actor spent his birthday while presenting “Creed III”, film in which he debuts as a director.
This American sports drama film, based on a script by Keenan Coogler and Zach Baylin, is the sequel to Creed II (2018) and the ninth installment in the Rocky franchise.
The film stars Jordan, Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad, and Jonathan Majors.
This is the first film in the franchise without Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa, although he still serves as a producer for his Balboa Productions brand.
He couldn’t see much of Mexico City, just a tour between the airport and the hotel, located on Paseo de la Reforma, where he is staying.
But he indicated that Mexicans are “cool people and the food is delicious.” Likewise, he asserted that he is excited to perform the premiere of his debut film.
a bit of his life
Jordan was born in California on February 9, 1987, the son of Donna (née Davis), an artist advisor and high school teacher, and Michael A. Jordan, a catering entrepreneur.
The second of three children, he has an older sister, Jamila, who works in film production, and a younger brother, Khalid, who was a football player at Howard University.
His family spent two years in California before moving to Newark, New Jersey, and where Jordan is considered to be from.
He attended Newark Arts High School, where his mother works, and where he played basketball. As a curious fact, his middle name is Bakari, which in the Swahili language translates as “noble promise”.
