Synopsis of Halloween Ends
This is Laurie Strode’s last stand.
After 44 years, cinema’s most acclaimed horror franchise reaches its terrifying conclusion as Laurie faces the embodiment of evil, Michael Myers, one last time in a final showdown unlike anything ever seen on screen. Only one of them will survive.
Jamie Lee Curtis returns one last time as Laurie Strode, horror’s first “final girl” and the role that launched Curtis’s career. She has played it for more than four decades, one of the longest actor-character pairings in film history. When the franchise was relaunched in 2018, Halloween shattered box office records, becoming the franchise’s highest-grossing chapter and setting a new opening weekend record for a female-led horror film. In 2021, Halloween Kills scored the biggest opening weekend for any horror film in the pandemic era and simultaneously set a new record for a non-live event premiere broadcast on Peacock.
In this unexpected final chapter, set four years after the events of Halloween Kills, Laurie lives with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoir. She has not seen Michael Myers since. Laurie, after allowing Michael’s specter to determine and drive his reality for decades, has decided to break free from fear and anger and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell), is framed for killing a child he was babysitting, a cascade of violence and terror is unleashed, forcing Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all. all.
