Different cinema chains have revealed the duration of Thor: Love and Thunderalthough far from clarifying they mislead the fans
It has come to light the possible duration of Thor: Love and Thunderwhich ranges from 115 minutes (1 hour and 55 minutes), published by the Australian cinema chain Event Cinema, to 140 minutes (2 hours and 20 minutes), shared by the British chain Cineworld.
The duration of 140 minutes would leave Thor: Love and Thunder with the same running time as the first Doctor Strange and Thor films, while if released at 140 minutes it would be slightly longer than The Incredible Hulk and Thor: The Dark World.
It will be enough?
thor: ragnarok, by director Taika Waititi, lasted 130 minutes (2 hours and 10 minutes), while his other more recent films such as jojo rabbit and What we do in the shadowslasted 108 minutes (1 hour and 48 minutes) and 86 minutes (1 hour and 26 minutes), respectively.
Looking at these duration times, Thor: Love and Thunder arriving somewhere around the two hour mark would not be unusual for the director. It should be noted that before the official duration of the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Different running times were also reported for the Sam Raimi film, so this information should not be taken too seriously.
Thor: Love and Thunder has many characters to work with, including Thor, Valkyrie, Jane Foster, Gorr the Butcher God, and Guardians of the Galaxy among others. Many may be concerned that a short running time doesn’t offer enough time for proper story and character development.
Fans shouldn’t expect to see too much of the Guardians of the Galaxy in the movie, as they’ll probably only show up in the first few minutes for an action scene or two to fulfill the ending of the movie. avengers:endgame, before the god of thunder decides to part ways with the team.
