In the comics, these tools were stolen by Roderick Burgess, who captured Morpheus and left him captive in a cell for more than 80 years, until the King of Dreams was able to free himself.
During this captivity, Sandman’s tools disappear from the Burgess lair in 193, when Ruthven Sykes, Magus’s right-hand man, flees from Fawney Rig with Ethel Cripps, Burgess’s lover, taking a large amount of money and the three tools of Morpheus, who travels different directions to rescue these artifacts
Meet these three tools with which Morpheus needs to restore his kingdom.
infinite sandbag
This bag of infinite sand contains one of the most powerful tools of Morpheus, with which the King of Dreams can not only put any being to sleep, but also bring their dreams to reality.
Morpheus can use this sand to move between realms, plus he can transport other of his brothers between other realms.
The sand can grant immortality to a mortal being, but it will take a terrible price.
Helmet
This helmet, or helm, that Dream made for himself is a symbol of his authority. This helmet is a tribute to the original Sandman, Wesley Dods, who fought crime using sleeping gas.
Morpheus made this helmet from the bones of a dead God who sought to desecrate the realm of Dreams, so its appearance is terrifying.
the dream gem
This is Morpheus’ most powerful tool, as it contains much of the Dream King’s essence. This gem can manifest dreams and make dreams come true for whoever wields it, Morpheus included.
This mineral is also known as Materioptikon, and was used as a reality-altering weapon, which was used by Doctor Destiny, until he was stopped by the Justice League.
