An exceptional combat: on the one hand, the most torrid episode of ‘The island of temptations’ a few galas to finish its sixth edition. Of the other, the start of the eleventh edition of a ‘Masterchef’ that is presented twice weekly. The TVE órdago faced two of the programs that work best on traditional television in a duel in which only one could remain. And, although the kitchen won, both came out very weak.
Sex or cooking?
With 1,451,000 viewers and a 12.2% share, ‘The Island of Temptations’ scored a minimum seasonal. Not historical, because a program from the fifth edition had 0.1% less, but almost. For its part, ‘Masterchef 11’ premiered with one of the worst data in the first episode of its history, a pyrrhic 13.8% that becomes 1,531,000 viewers.
It should be remembered that ‘Masterchef’, in its first season, back in 2013, barely reached an 11% share, only then that translated into two million people. Since then, all editions have had a better start than this one. By the way, the cooking reality show and ‘The island of temptations’ faced each other with ‘Hermanos’, on Antena 3, which had to settle for 12.3% and 1,335,000 viewers, a rather bad figure considering note that ‘El hormiguero’ surpassed, as always, two million with the visit of Omar Montes.
For its part, ‘Pasapalabra’ continues to show that it is unbeatable with 21.4% and 2,117,000: right now there are several managers sighing in relief that the pot has not been more important than the evening tradition. In the end, between ‘El hormiguero’ and the contest presented by Roberto Leal, one more day, Antena 3 has dominated with 14% compared to 11.5% for Telecinco and 10.6% for La 1. By the way, the least-watched program of the day is, once again, from the public channel: ‘Hablando claro extra’, the revival broadcast at dawn, took the incredible 0% share with zero viewers. An incunabula, wow.
