One more night of audience war. In the current scenario, where Antena 3 has emerged as the channel with the dominant trend, prime time has become a real battlefield. Again, the chains put all the meat on the grill on a night where La 1 achieved its highest share and Antena 3 once again gathered the largest number of viewers.

Monday night is very important for La 1, since it reserves it for its star program. ‘Masterchef Celebrity’ is one of the few spaces in its programming that manage to rise to the leadership of its time slot and last night it did so again, becoming the program with the highest share of prime time: 16.2% and 1,462,000 viewers.
The thing was very close, with ‘Brothers‘ hot on his heels (13.6% and 1,380,000) on Antena 3, and ‘In the name of Rocío’ behind (15.7% and 1,276,000), quite an achievement taking into account the irregular audience data that the open broadcast of the docuseries was reaping, which has also placed Telecinco on the podium of the most watched of the night.
The next most watched programs were the access prime time of ‘Nightmare in El Paraíso’ (8.3% and 1,216,000), ‘First Dates’ (7.2% and 1,061,000) and ‘El intermedia’ (6, 3% and 931,000).
The one that has been confirmed (in case it wasn’t clear enough) as a absolute failure is ‘The debate on temptations’ in Cuatro. The gala reached its new low with 4.6% share and 396,000 viewers, the least seen of the night (once again, only above the programs of La 2). The format has done nothing to renew itself despite the poor results it has been having since the beginning, so it is not surprising that it continues to founder.
To these data we must add that the program that obtained a highest number of viewers (although lower quota than ‘Masterchef Celebrity’) was ‘The Anthill’. Álvaro Soler’s visit captured a 16% share and 2,355,000 viewers, reaffirming Antena 3’s dominance for yet another night.
