The Batman director Matt Reeves would be a wonderful choice for Marvel Studios to reinvigorate the Wolverine franchise.
After presenting to Bat Man of Robert Pattinson in batman, Matt Reeves would be the best option to carry the mythology of Wolverines in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The filmmaker won the entire Hollywood industry with the series happiness. However, it was the movie cloverfield the one that truly put him on the map. Later, he took care of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes Y War for the Planet of the Apes. This opened the door for the director to take on bigger and bigger projects, until he ended up “signing” for the DC Extended Universe.
In an interview given to Variety during the premiere of batmanMatt Reeves expressed his doubts about making a movie of Marvel Studios. His biggest concern would be the amount of creative freedom that the UCM may lack. The truth is that he is right. Almost all of this filmmaker’s films have had some flexibility. However, in this case, he feels that the scheme established by Kevin Feig and company would come to inhibit his ability to explore new artistic territory as a director, even though he would be perfect for directing a Wolverine movie.
“I have a lot of respect for Kevin Feige and for all the directors of Marvel,” said Matt Reeves in his day. “But to be honest with you, I just don’t know how I could make my way through the MCU. There must be some level of discovery for me, a place where I have some freedom to find my own way. If I have to go into something that’s already too established, then I think I’d be lost. And I don’t think they were very happy with me, anyway.” Be that as it may, in ScreenRant they are clear that it would be a great option for Wolverines.
A perfect character for the director of ‘The Batman’
As exposed on Screen Rant, if Matt Reeves changed his mind and considered making a Marvel Studios movie, Wolverine would be the ideal character. Due to his long life, Logan has a lot of ground to cover in his character development. The mutant with the adamantium claws survived a harsh childhood, fought in wars, traveled the world and suffered the tears of love. He has experienced constant memory loss, anger control problems and several bouts of depression. Characteristics all of them that this filmmaker could masterfully exploit to offer us a darker representation of the history of this character. Furthermore, the director of batman has the ability to expose political angles within the franchise of X Men like i did before Logan.
In short, Matt Reeves would be a great signing for Marvel Studios. he did it with BruceWayne in batman and could repeat it in the MCU with Wolverine. What would you think of this idea?
