With her books, courses, and Netflix programs, Marie Kondo has set out to show us that the first step to living better is that our home is organized and free of clutter. If, in addition, it is applying its own organization system, even better. To do this, the Japanese guru recommends not accumulating and getting rid of everything we don’t use. However, called the “KonMari” method, it also has tricks to apply to what stays with us so that our shelves and cabinets ooze peace and harmony. Whether it’s the place where we keep our shoes, the sweater drawer or the T-shirt shelf.
Basically, the secret of a closet in which order and space have been optimized to the maximum is knowing Marie Kondo’s Vertical Bending Method. This does not mean anything other than folding clothes in a way that supports and can be stored vertically.
In addition to being practical, the truth is that It couldn’t be easier and faster to execute. Especially applied to the folding of a shirt. In fact, for this we only have to follow the following steps:
First of all, we fold the shirt by the sleeves in two-thirds. After this step, we should have a rectangle perfect. Then, we are going to fold it into “little packages” from bottom to top, but without making more than 3 folds.
Finally, once folded, we have to place all the shirts together and vertically in a basket or directly in the drawer. Not only will they look better but they won’t wrinkle.
