This year’s spring anime season is going to be quite busy and some of the most anticipated news of the year will be released. Undoubtedly, one that you have to keep an eye on is the anime of ‘Mashle: Magic and Muscles’which adapts the manga by Hajime Komoto.
Healthy magic in a healthy body
‘Mashle: Magic and Muscles’ began publishing in 2022 in Weekly Shonen Jump and It’s already one of the magazine’s biggest new series.. So the anime could not take too long to arrive and we already know that it will be released in April 2023although we need to specify the day.
What has been confirmed is that Crunchyroll will be in charge of issuing the simulcast of the animeso we can follow it week by week from the platform.
A-1 Pictures, the study of ‘NieR: Automata Ver1.1a’, is also in charge of the adaptation of ‘Mashle‘. with Tomonari Tanaka of ‘Engage Kiss’ as director and Yosuke Kuroda of ‘Boku no Hero Academia’ as scriptwriter. Character design is by Hisashi Higashijima and music by Masaru Yokoyama.
‘Mashle’ is set in a world where magical abilities define the status of each person, so individuals without magic like Mash Burnedead they are basically the last link in the food chain. Mash painstakingly trains his muscles, and when he begins attending Easton Magic Academy he’s determined to survive and excel… even if he’s without magic.
