the millionaire Mackenzie Scottwho was a couple Jeff Bezos and is considered the fourth richest woman on the planet, she decided to donate two of her mansions from beverly hills for the benefit of California Community Foundationa Los Angeles-based nonprofit philanthropic organization.
The real estate, for which he paid $37 million dollars in two separate operations, would currently be worth $55 million dollarsa money that will be very good for the aforementioned foundation when they can have access to it.
90% of the money from the sale of the houses will go to the organization’s affordable housing efforts and the rest to its immigrant integration program.
The two properties, which together measure more than 16,000 square feetthey sit on a 2.5-acre lot, so future new owners will have plenty of room to decide what to do with them.
The largest house, which measures about 12,000 square feet is hacienda-style, while the other, about 4,500 square feetIt’s ranch style.
Together they have 13 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms, while outside there are extensive green areas, swimming pool, tennis court, impressive trees, among other amenities.
So far no further details are known about the interiors and the distribution of both houses, but it would not be surprising if more data and photographs about this pair of complexes that will be used for good come to light in the future.
It should be remembered that Mackenzie Scott signed, after her divorce, the Giving Pledge, with which she promised to donate at least half of her considerable wealth.
