On April 15, Luis Fonsi turned 45 and he celebrated it in Amsterdam with his partner, Águeda López.
The famous singer shared with his almost 14 million followers on his Instagram account the special moments he lived for his birthday.
“One more lap around the Sun. I celebrate that I have a beautiful family, health, love and that I have you. I love them. Bye, I’m going to have a drink”he wrote in the photograph where an impressive landscape of the capital of the Netherlands is seen.
Meanwhile, his wife did the same on her account on this social network. “Happy birthday to the love of my life. May you continue to enjoy this life with the same joy, health and unique energy that you have. And that we continue to be serious people, very very serious. I love you Luis Fonsi!” he wrote. Agueda Lopez.
Fonsi and Agué López met in Miami, during a photo shoot and got married in 2014, in the Napa Valley, in San Francisco.
They have two children and a relationship of more than 10 years: “I don’t know what I did in this life to have a princess, a queen like her“, assured Fonsi in the last edition of The voice.
Thousands of fans and artists took advantage of the publications to send their best wishes to Fonsi.
Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Orlando, Florida, Fonsi immersed himself in show business at a young age, singing in a school vocal group called the Big Guys that also included future NSYN star Joey Fatone.
In Florida, the artist fell into depression, “I stopped singing, I didn’t feel comfortable and I wanted to quit everything. I suffered bullying and stopped studying music. They put me in an isolation classroom for children who did not speak English, ”she said in an interview.
He debuted at Universal in 1998 with “Comenzaré”which did well, peaking at number 27 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart and spawning four hit singles: “Si Tú Quisieras”, “Perdóname”, “Dime Como” and “Me Iré”.
The single “Despacito” with Daddy Yankee marked his career, achieving seven Guinness Records and four Latin Grammys. In addition, it was the first video clip to exceed 5,000 million YouTube views.
“He only brought good things to my life and I got to know a side of the world that I didn’t know with my music.a”, Fonsi told the EFE news agency a few years ago.
