Netflix has finally announced the renewal of ‘Love, Death and Robots’, one of its best science fiction series, for a fourth season. Let us remember that the third premiered on May 20 and that the most common thing when the platform takes so long to confirm the future of one of its series is that they end up being cancelled. Fortunately, this has not been the case.
And Emmy with Spanish flavor
The news of its renewal has practically coincided in time with the fact that the Spanish Alberto Mielgo has been awarded an Emmy for his work on ‘Jibaro’, one of the short films from the third round of ‘Love, Death and Robots’ episodes.
Unfortunately, what Netflix has not wanted to clarify is when we will see season 4 nor how many short films will it consist of this time. And we cannot trust its predecessors to make a forecast on this last point either, since the first had 15, for 9 for the second and 8 for the third.
On its arrival date on Netflix, most likely to happen throughout 2023. Let’s keep in mind that yes, the first was launched in 2019 and the second in 2021, but also that in between it was the outbreak of a certain pandemic that we are still suffering today. Then the third one was available in 2022.
Created by Tim Millerdirector of ‘Deadpool’ and ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’, ‘Love, Death and Robots’ also stands out for the participation as producer of David Fincher, who was also encouraged to debut as an animation director in a short film from the third season. Hopefully repeat in the fourth.
