Letters in which she describes the separation process, consummated in August 1996, as something “desperate and ugly”.
Because the Kassems do not want to pass on the responsibility that their children and grandchildren have to possess these writings, they made the decision to auction off the 32 letters from the Princess of Wales so that all the proceeds go to support the organizations charities that Diana of Wales herself supported in life.
The auction will take place on February 16, at Lay’s Auctioneers, where these documents will be auctioned in individual lots, so that more than one will have the opportunity to acquire a memory of the princess. Nothing better than having something written by her own hand, especially if it is a document in which she talks about quite intimate and private topics.
