Five months after they decided to get married, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker bought their first house.
Although both celebrities own their mansions in Calabasas, California, they chose to acquire a property on the beach to eventually take a few days off from the hustle and bustle.
Both the model and the drummer they looked for a place that was close to Santa Barbara, the place where they got engaged exactly one year ago.
The chosen property is located in the small town of Carpinteria, in the southeastern corner of the aforementioned county.
It transpired that the building built in the 1950s belonged to television presenter Conan Christopher O’Brienwho had launched it on the market in exchange for $16.5 million dollars.
However, Kardashian and Barker offered two million dollars less and, according to the TMZ portal, the operation was closed on Friday, because in any case it represented a good profit for O’Brien since seven years ago he paid $7.9 million dollars to keep the residence.
Regarding the characteristics of the property, It is known to have an open concept design with a giant glass wall through which it is possible to appreciate a unique view of the Pacific.
A huge and comfortable living room, where exquisite taste stands out in terms of the materials used in the floors and ceilings, as well as a fireplace, are a true invitation to stay in said space. The property also has a large terrace with direct access to the beach.
In short, the manor is an extension of 2,142 square feet distributed among several rooms, bathrooms, hall, living room, dining room, bar, kitchen, laundry room, game room and gym. It is even mentioned that it has a garage for two cars, as well as a Tesla charging station.
So far it is unknown if the property will be remodeled to suit the whims of the couple, but it is a fact that the residents of the place will have to get used to the cameras, which will not stop following the members of the Kardashian clan.
