For a few weeks rumors have emerged about Kevin Costner’s behavior during the recordings of “Yellowstone”the hit television series in which he stars, and focused on the fact that he wanted to work for 50 days for the first part of the fifth season, while for the last few episodes he wanted to appear on set for only one week.
Now Marty Singerlawyer for the actor, informed PuckNews that this information is false: “The idea that Kevin was only willing to work one week in the second half of the fifth season is an absolute lie. It’s ridiculous, and anyone who suggests that is not to be believed. As everyone who knows Kevin knows, he is incredibly passionate about the show and has always gone above and beyond to ensure its success.”
It is not yet known if “Yellowstone” will continue after season 5but some time ago it became known that Paramount+ could produce a spin-off of the series, which would star Matthew McConaughey. A company spokesperson reported: “We have no news to report. Kevin Costner is a big part of “Yellowstone” and we hope he will be that way for a long time. Thanks to the brilliant mind of (the producer) taylor sheridan we’re always working on franchise expansions of this amazing world you’ve built. Matthew McConaughey is a phenomenal talent that we would love to partner with.”
