It was one of the favorites, if not the most and finally it has been the one that has won the Oscar: Ke Huy Quan has been the actor who has won the award for best supporting actor for his role in ‘Everything at once everywhere’, which is the clear favorite of the night.
Although it was an almost sung prize, the Vietnamese-American actor had to do with titans like Brendan Gleeson for ‘Battacks in Inisherin’, Brian Tyree Henry by ‘Causeway’, Judd Hirsch by ‘The Fabelmans’, barry keoghan for ‘Souls in banshee in Inisherin’.
Like Brendan Fraser, we are witnessing the great return of Ke Huy Quan to the screens. And a big comeback with his historic nomination. First Vietnamese actor and second “ethnically” Chinese, after Hing S. Ngor for ‘The Screams of Silence’.
This marks the first Oscar for a film that is destined to sweep the awards… and at the level of speeches it is being quite emotional. At least those of the winning supporting actors.
