‘Everything at once everywhere’ has been very close to being the most awarded film of this 2023 Golden Globes ceremony, although in the end the honor has gone to ‘Souls in pain in Inisherin’.
Still, the movie Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert it has not gone empty at all. michelle yeoh won her first Golden Globe in the category of Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy and Ke Huy Quan has continued to sweep awards season by taking home the award for Best Supporting Actor.
Second chances come big
The actor was missing for 20 years after being a child star in the 1980s, but he’s back in style. Although we could already see him in ‘Finding ‘Ohana’ in 2021, ‘All at once everywhere’ has marked the great return of Ke Huy Quan and he does not stop accumulating awards and nominations for his work.
During his speech when picking up his first Golden Globe, Quan took the opportunity to thank Steven Spielbergwho gave him his first film role.
“I was raised to never forget where I came from and to always remember who gave me my first chance,” Quan said. “I’m very happy to see Steven Spielberg here tonight. Steven, thank you.”

During the break for announcements, both were able to meet and photos of Quan and Spielberg hugging have been seen. Quan’s first role was at the age of twelve in ‘Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom’, and the following year Spielberg re-signed him for ‘The Goonies’, with which he quickly became one of the icons of adventure cinema of the time.
“When I started my career as a child actor on ‘Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom,’ I felt so lucky that they cast me. And growing up, I began to wonder if that was it,” the actor continued during his speech. “For many years, I was afraid that I had nothing more to offer, that I would never surpass what I achieved as a child. Fortunately, more than 30 years later, two guys thought of me. They remembered that boy, and they gave me the opportunity to try again.”
