A few hours after the photos of the most recent issue of the magazine were released G.Q. with the cover of Carol G.this He has used his Instagram account to express his dissatisfaction with how he looks in the main image.
The reggaeton singer shared a photograph in which she appears without makeup, wearing a white coat and with her pink hair, complementing her post with a long text: “I don’t even know where to start this message… My GQ magazine cover was released today, a cover with an image that does NOT represent me. My face doesn’t look like that, my body doesn’t look like that, and I feel very happy and comfortable with how I look naturally.”

Karol also recognized the magazine for having selected her for the cover, but criticized the changes they made to the photo: “I thank the magazine for the opportunity because I was very happy when they confirmed that I would be there, but despite making clear my disagreement with the number of edits they made to the photo, they did nothing about it, as if to look good I needed all those changes. I understand the repercussions this can have, but Beyond feeling that it is disrespectful to me, it is women who wake up every day looking to feel comfortable with ourselves despite society’s stereotypes.
