Before talking about Kanye West we should give a warning, because we know that whenever he is mentioned in the conversation it is not good at all. This occasion is no exception, since now the 45-year-old rapper is involved in a controversy from which he does not know how to get out, and it is not for less, because getting involved with an anti-racist movement is something silly even for him.
It all started on October 3, when Kanye, now known as Ye, took advantage of Fashion Week in Paris to present his new clothing collection. Yeezy Season 9 on a secret walkway. For this, Kim Kardashian’s ex invited only some important figures such as Anna Wintour, Jaden Smith, Irina Shayk, to name a few.
Kanye West’s decision to wear a “White Lives Matter” shirt is disgusting, dangerous, and irresponsible. Some of y’all will rush to defend him. You should ask yourself why… pic.twitter.com/YT4a6c9tKI

The surprise and outrage came when they saw that Kanye, his models and other guests were wearing a T-shirt with the slogan “White Lives Matter” (White lives matter), which is a phrase used by white supremacist groups to mock the anti-racist movement “Black Lives Matter” (Black Lives Matter). As if that were not enough, in front of the garment you could see an image of Pope John Paul II that included the phrase: “We will follow your path.”
Faced with the unjustifiable act, several attendees chose to withdraw from the parade, including Jaden Smith, who years ago had assured that West was a genius. However, on this occasion, the young actor did not hesitate to express himself against the rapper, through his Twitter account. Twitterposting various messages that pointed directly to the incident.
I Don’t Care Who’s It Is If I Don’t Feel The Message I’m Out.

I don’t care who it is, if I don’t like the message I’m out.
In addition, Kanye dared to fan the flame more, through his Instagram account, saying:
everybody knows that Black Lives Matter it was a scam. Now it’s over. No problem.
Given this, the famous editor of fashion and African-American fashion specialist Gabriella Karefa-Johnson was particularly upset, stating the following:
It is incredibly irresponsible and dangerous to put a t-shirt with the message: ‘White lives matter’ in a parade […] The shirts that this man has devised, produced and presented to the world are pure violence. There is no excuse, there is no art.
Karefa’s words were not funny to Ye, so he began an attack against him, which seemed more like a tantrum than an attack, since he took some screenshots of the editor where he questioned his sense of fashion (publications that he has already deleted) .
Meanwhile, the scandal was also joined by the model Gigi Hadid, who did not hesitate to defend her friend, calling the rapper “bully”:
You wish you had a percentage of his intellect. You have no idea ha ha ha… If your shit really made sense she would be the only person who could save you. As if the ‘honor’ of being invited to your ‘show’ prevented someone from giving her opinion. Ha, ha, ha… You’re a ‘bully’ and a joke.
We know that Kanye is used to receiving this kind of attention, but we are not sure that he will emerge victorious from this situation.
