Kalimba insists on being innocent before the severe accusations that the singer Melissa Galindo launched publicly through a live on social networks, for alleged sexual harassment and improper touching.
Although the member of OV7 already published a statement on the subject, the also interpreter of “Tocando Fondo” gave a brief interview where he broke the silence for the first time and reiterated that he would proceed legally.
“Absolutely nothing and as you know I already put out a statement in which I made it very clear that I will act legally and they will soon have answers about this because it will indeed be a legal case, then they will have the information there,” Kalimba told the “Despierta América” program.
Regarding the evidence that the Mexican singer presumes to have to verify her statements, the singer-songwriter insisted that everything will be resolved before the authorities.
“As I told you, all this is done where it has to be done, which is precisely in front of a judge,” he asserted.
Kalimba took the opportunity to send a message to his followers, who have shown their supportonce Melissa Galindo uncovered the alleged abuse: “I thank you very much, that we are here and we will continue here.”

After Kalimba released his statement, Melissa Galindo assured that he would proceed legally against Kalimba, so it is expected that in the coming days there will be news of the complaints from both parties involved.
The complainant interpreter is 34 years old, began her career at the age of 14 and is originally from Culiacán, Sinaloa. She also participated twice in the reality show “La Voz México”, but neither won.
