Justin Bieber is not happy about the recent actions that H&M took, and it is that the singer denounced that the renowned clothing brand put up for sale, without his consent, garments that used his image and the lyrics of some of his songs as a resource. Here we tell you what he said!
In a forceful message shared to his more than 270 million followers on Instagram, the interpreter of songs like “Baby”, “Peaches” and “Love yourself” expressed his annoyance with the retail chain.
“The H&M merch they made of me is rubbish and I didn’t approve of it,” Justin Bieber said to later urge his fans not to buy it.
Among the selection of items that include Bieber are t-shirts, sweatshirts and jackets with his photographs, as well as quotes from his songs: “I miss you more than life” from the song ‘Ghost’. These garments were around between 49.8 and 114 dollars.
As expected, the news caused an immediate stir among its digital community and monopolized the international media. For this reason, It wasn’t long before the H&M chain itself ruled on the singer’s accusations.
In this regard, it was said that the sale of products related to Justin Bieber was withdrawn from his website, as well as from his physical stores.
“We have followed all the approval procedures, but while we continue to check this with all parties involved, the items have been withdrawn from sale”an H&M spokesperson revealed to Reuters.
