Actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus plays Valentina Allegra de Fontaine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and has a great future ahead of her.
The Serie Falcon and the Winter Soldier which is available in Disney Plusintroduced us to Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), a character about whom we have been given very little information but it seems that it will be important because he has contacted John Walker (Wyatt Russell). He also gave a mission to Yelena Belova as Florence Pugh in the post-credits scene of the movie black widow (2021), so in the near future he could lead a team of villains from Marvel called the thunderbolts.
the new book, Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier: The Art of the Seriesown Julia Louis-Dreyfus commented on the future of his character Marvel:
“There’s a lot of mystery in terms of her background, and whether she’s a good girl or a bad girl remains to be seen… She lives in a kind of gray area. And I like the idea of a female mastermind. I think it’s time, by the way, not to get too political with anyone. But I am completely in favour. And I’m delighted to be able to do it myself. And the other thing that’s really funny is sometimes you think maybe she said too much, and then maybe it seems like what she said was intentional, and I wanted you to think that she said too much, but she didn’t. Everything is a plan. She’s about three steps ahead of everyone, and that can be a lot of fun.”
As for his appearance, the costume designer Michael Crow noted that: “The original character in the script was supposed to be quirky and weird-looking, and her clothes were supposed to be almost funny… And after talking to Julia Louis-Dreyfus, that really didn’t make sense. I mean, she brings all of that to the character, so she didn’t need any help from the wardrobe to get there. So it was our job to make her look a bit intimidating and classic and let her bring that whole character to the screen. Yes, it was complicated, but we got there.”
