Among the new television projects that RTVE is preparing, the channel has added a new one that will be accompanied by a more than familiar face: ‘Incredible duos’ is the new music contest of the 1 that will be presented by Juan y Medio.

John and a halficonic Andalusian presenter by ‘Innocent, innocent’ or programs for south channel like ‘What a night’ or ‘La afternoon, here and now’, he returns to La 1. Since ‘Tu gran día’ in 2000, his last collaboration has been in 2016, at the head of the family program ‘Poder canijo’, without forget his appearance in ‘Two couples and a destiny’.
Y Medio will be in charge of presenting ‘Incredible Duels’, a musical contest where 16 artists will sing a duet: 8 veteran singers, with extensive experience in the musical world, will perform together with 8 other successful singers, of more recent fame. Among the invited singers, Ainhoa Arteta, Chema Rivas, Ana Belén, Miguel Poveda, Antonio José, Antonio Carmona, Nia, Diego Torres, Paul Alone, Marta Soto, Agoney, Sole Giménez and La Cebolla have already been confirmed.
The contest will be produced by Ganga (‘Cuéntame’), which has been developing the project for months, for which it will have a budget of 9 million euros. In it, the stars will interpret popular songs of all timewith a total of 12 galas of 120 minutes each.
After ‘Mapi’, RTVE launches itself to adapt another Asian format. This time, it will be a version of the original contest ‘Singing with legends’what has caused a furor in China.
‘Incredible duos’ will be RTVE’s new musical bet for the next season, so its release is expected premiere at the end of September or beginning of October.
