What a scandal has been created regarding the inheritance of the Mexican singer Jose jose; and is that Four years after his death, speculation continues about the final destination of the goods that the famous man acquired in life.
Today it is estimated that José José left an inheritance of one and a half million dollars paid by Televisa thanks to the production of a biographical series, a house in Miami, as well as 8% of the rights to the songs he performed for more than of 50 years of trajectory.
Although until then the situation had been handled “discreetly” between the singer’s children and his ex-wife Anel Noreña, recent statements issued by the former president of the National Association of Interpreters (ANDI) shook the artistic environment.
According to Mario Castillo, a juicy amount of money was paid to the singer’s daughter for her royalties. “I had to send 4 million pesos to Marysol, because I had left them as heirs. In the ANDI, a letter is signed where one designates who leaves his royalties ”, he declared in an interview with Rosita Pelayo and Jorge Zamitiz.
As expected, these statements did nothing more than trigger a wave of bickering that was exposed to the current president of the association, José Elías Moreno. “Right now I don’t have the information, I don’t even have the papers. I have to discuss it with the ANDI legal to see what is happening because this is a statement by Mario Casillas and it is his responsibility. To be able to give an answer from ANDI to see what is there, what has been done”, he explained.
Laura Núñez, former representative of José José, comes out to deny the speculation
Given the commotion of the news, more and more people close to José José are coming out to give their version of the facts. Such is the case of the former representative of the famous, Laura Núñez, who decided to share the feelings of the singer-songwriter’s family before what was said by ANDI.
In this regard, he reported that although those close to José José did make a charge, this was not for the exorbitant amount that Mario Casillas brought up.
“Yes, there was a charge from the entire Sosa Noreña family, from Mrs. Anel, from José Joel and Marysol herself, but there was no similar amount or from Mr. Casillas,” he said in an interview with ‘Ventaneando’. “It’s a lie, the truth, Mr. Casillas was no longer president of the National Association of Interpreters (ANDI) when José passed away and even less when the charges were made,” he argued.
