The actor Joe Pesci79, recalled his work in the 1990 film “Home alone”which has become a classic of the Christmas season, and revealed that he got burns during a scene where his character “Harry” wears a flaming cap.
interviewed by People Pesci commented that, although he let professional stuntmen do many stunts, he participated in some. “In addition to the expected bumps, bruises and general pain you would associate with that particular kind of physical humor, I suffered severe burns to the top of my head during the scene where Harry’s hat is on fire.”
Joe is very pleased with the success that “Home alone” and its sequel -from 1992- they have obtained throughout all this time, but I would not be sure of participating in another film in the saga, if it were to be made: “Now they are different times. Attitudes and priorities have changed in 30 years, and while you should never say “never,” I think it would be difficult to repeat not only the success, but also the general innocence of the two original films.”
